Privacy policy

Haute Atelier is a small boutique in Jalandhar, Punjab. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. In short: we collect what we need to send you your order and talk to you about it, and nothing else.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, WhatsApp number, delivery address, and optionally your email.
• When you send an enquiry: your name, WhatsApp number, and whatever you tell us — which may include your measurements, if you choose to share them.
• Payment details: we never see or store these. Your card and UPI details go directly to Razorpay and never touch our systems. We only ever learn whether a payment succeeded.

Why we collect it

• To make and deliver what you ordered.
• To talk to you on WhatsApp about your order or enquiry.
• To keep a record of sales, as any business must.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list — if we message you, it's about something you asked us for.

Who else sees it

• Razorpay — our payment provider, who handle your payment.
• Supabase— where our website's database is hosted.
• Vercel — where our website runs.
• Our courier — who need your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
• WhatsApp (Meta)— because that's where we message you.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what they do with data.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and there's no analytics following you around this site. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser, on your own device — it never reaches us until you check out. Razorpay sets its own cookies when you pay, which are necessary for the payment to work.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for our accounts. Enquiries are kept while we're talking to you and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your measurements

If you share measurements with us, they're used for one thing: making your piece fit. We don't share them with anyone, and you can ask us to delete them once your order is complete.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just message us — we'll sort it out. We're not a large company with a portal; you'll be talking to the person who runs the boutique.
